- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an EAC/ABET Accredited University.
- PE Licensure required.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or similar software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage multiple project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel on a quarterly basis for 1–3 day site visits.
- Comfort working onsite and engaging with operators, contractors, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, lift stations, and related infrastructure.
- Perform hydraulic simulations and process calculations.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports and permit applications.
- Support permitting and regulatory compliance efforts across state and federal agencies.
- Represent Atwell in client and regulatory meetings.
- Conduct site assessments of existing facilities.
- Develop design solutions for new and upgraded treatment infrastructure.
