Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional product design experience with a history of shipping high-quality digital products.
- Strong portfolio featuring at least three case studies demonstrating complex problem-solving and collaboration.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component-driven architecture, variables, and interactive prototyping.
- Proven ability to take ownership of ambiguous design challenges without fully defined specifications.
- Strong UX, UI, visual, and accessibility design fundamentals.
- Experience extending, maintaining, and improving design systems and documentation.
- Ability to use workflows, journey mapping, and service mapping to communicate design rationale.
- Comfort operating independently as a design lead while maintaining strong collaboration with partners.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design tools such as Claude and Figma Make.
- Working knowledge of front-end concepts such as design tokens and responsive behavior.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Own ambiguous, loosely defined product design problems from discovery through delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
- Act as the primary design partner on engagements, shaping the user experience during project kickoff and transitioning ownership to delivery teams.
- Define interaction patterns for AI agents and conversational experiences, including response structures, chained actions, and generated interfaces.
- Extend and strengthen the design system and component library to support efficient collaboration.
- Partner with product managers to establish design prototypes and frameworks using Figma, AI-assisted tools, or code.
- Lead UX reviews of features and generated UI to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Use workflows, journey maps, and service mapping to align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor less experienced designers and facilitate constructive critique.
