Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including 6+ years in a people-management capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Extensive experience with enterprise software architecture using Java, React or Angular, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Proven experience managing multiple engineering teams and managers across distributed organizations.
- Strong knowledge of AI-enabled software engineering practices and automation tools.
- Solid experience with Lean, iterative, and flow-based delivery methodologies.
- Deep expertise in DevOps, automated testing, TDD, CI/CD, and reliability engineering.
- Experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries with compliance and data privacy requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive and cross-functional engagement.
- Ability to work effectively in a secure, remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a multi-team engineering organization with clear objectives and outcome-based metrics.
- Establish and advance AI-enabled software engineering practices by incorporating AI tools and automation.
- Provide technical and architectural oversight of roadmap execution to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
- Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and operational priorities across the organization.
- Lead and develop managers and engineering staff across multiple geographically distributed teams.
- Partner with Product, Data, IT, and Security stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into technology outcomes.
- Modernize software development, testing, and DevOps practices to improve delivery throughput and reliability.
