Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated impact.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS/multi-tenant platforms, ideally on AWS.
- Strong software fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience building highly distributed microservice architectures using Java 25 and SpringBoot.
- Experience with agentic-AI software development practices.
- Experience designing and consuming well-designed HTTP APIs (REST, GraphQL, or similar).
- Proven track record of mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions across teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate in fast-moving environments with ambiguity.
- Strong initiative to improve processes, tools, and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals that align with platform vision.
- Influence technical direction through RFCs, design reviews, and hands-on collaboration.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute the product architecture roadmap.
- Balance delivery speed, quality, and maintainability in technical decision-making.
- Break down large initiatives into parallelizable work streams.
- Champion proposals through the full SDLC and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability and observability.
- Mentor developers through design reviews and AI-assisted development practices.
