Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally full-stack.
- Strong product ownership mindset.
- Proficiency in building consumer-facing user experiences at scale.
- Expertise with at least one modern web application framework, ideally React or React Native.
- Experience building and maintaining component libraries and working with design systems.
- Experience building applications with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Demonstrable systems thinking with an ability to design for scalability.
- Experience operating applications in production, monitoring, and managing on-call responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills for working in multicultural, distributed teams.
- Experience using AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and build features end-to-end from user interview and design through architecture, build, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Partner closely with the product team to discover user problems and shape effective solutions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code using TypeScript, React, and Ruby on Rails.
- Ensure service reliability by building resilient applications and participating in on-call/incident response.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering practices and excellence.
- Contribute to CRM, organizer dashboard, and task management projects to improve operational efficiency for travel organizers.
