Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL or MySQL in production environments.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and experience building them.
- Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, BullMQ, GCP PubSub).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization.
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana.
- Testing mindset with experience in unit and integration testing (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one ORM (Sequelize, TypeORM, Prisma) and Redis.
- Git proficiency for collaborative version control.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Self-starter mentality with ability to take ownership and ask questions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems and APIs using Node.js for the AI Builder and eCommerce platform.
- Take end-to-end ownership of backend services and architectural decisions.
- Optimize API performance, database efficiency, and system scalability.
- Integrate third-party APIs and implement data storage solutions.
- Write tested, documented, and scalable code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and engineers to deliver features.
