Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, or related discipline, or 7+ years of relevant healthcare claims analytics experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional analytical experience working with healthcare claims data.
- At least 5 years of strong SQL experience including querying, extraction, and validation.
- Solid understanding of healthcare claims and eligibility data structures (ICD, CPT, DRG).
- Experience analyzing complex datasets and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple ad-hoc analytical requests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect findings to organizational goals.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, clinical, and operational teams.
- Willingness to stay current with evolving analytics tools and healthcare data practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical solutions that generate actionable recommendations and measurable business value.
- Collect, clean, query, and analyze healthcare claims and eligibility data from multiple sources.
- Conduct end-to-end ad-hoc analyses, including scoping, data extraction, and validation.
- Monitor data integrity through regular audits and quality checks.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using claims and eligibility data.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business goals into analytical deliverables.
- Present complex data findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
- Automate recurring analytical and reporting processes to streamline workflows.
- Document analytical methodologies and data workflows to promote transparency.
