Requirements
- 7+ years of Workday Financials delivery experience with multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex functional workstreams and providing solution architecture leadership.
- Active Workday Financial Management / Financials Core certification.
- Deep understanding of corporate accounting, FDM, General Ledger, multi-entity structures, and consolidations.
- Strong executive client management and workshop facilitation capabilities.
- Proven experience in team leadership and delivery governance.
- Financial services or private markets experience is preferred.
- Additional specialty certifications (e.g., Accounting Center, Consolidations, Reporting) are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end functional delivery across complex Workday Financials engagements and serve as a senior escalation point for client stakeholders.
- Lead discovery workshops, design sessions, and solution reviews with CFOs and finance teams to translate requirements into functional Workday designs.
- Architect multi-entity ledger structures, FDM, consolidations, intercompany activity, allocations, and financial reporting configurations.
- Provide solution leadership across General Ledger, Procure-to-Pay, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, and Accounting Center modules.
- Direct functional testing strategies, data conversion validation, UAT execution, and post-go-live stabilization efforts.
- Develop trusted relationships with finance leaders, communicating design decisions, risks, and trade-offs.
- Mentor managers and consultants, and support resource planning and delivery governance.
- Contribute to practice methodologies, accelerators, and thought leadership regarding Workday and finance transformation.
