Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Medical License in Nevada and state of primary residence.
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider.
- Current DEA license.
- Proficiency in trauma-informed care and harm reduction modeling.
- Ability to provide medication-assisted treatment for OUD (or willingness to learn).
- Comfortable working in a fully-remote environment.
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet.
- Patient-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all ages.
- Manage psychopharmacological treatment for diagnosed psychiatric conditions.
- Provide medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder.
- Deliver supportive psychotherapy using motivational interviewing and trauma-informed approaches.
- Coordinate care between psychiatry, substance use treatment, and medical providers.
- Complete validated rating scales and treatment plans to determine appropriate levels of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PCPs, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, and peer support staff.
