Job Details

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering and/or reporting with production-grade solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for building and maintaining data pipelines.
Hands-on experience with AWS data services, ideally including Redshift.
Advanced English level proficiency.
Experience working in distributed teams across different locations and time zones.
Experience working with data where accuracy and traceability are critical (e.g., fintech, payments).
Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
Comfort with rotating on-call responsibilities approximately once every four weeks.
Java backend development experience is a strong plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting services for financial, payment, settlement, and transaction reporting.
Adapt and extend existing reports based on merchant requests, managing multiple priorities and short turnaround times.
Contribute to the development of a new self-service Reporting API.
Work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks, identifying blockers early, and driving work through completion.
Participate in on-call rotations (approximately every four weeks) and respond to production incidents.
Communicate proactively about progress, risks, and blockers.
Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows and automated processes for pull request reviews.
