Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business analytics, data analytics, information systems, economics, or public administration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, nonprofit finance, grant reporting, data analytics, or financial systems support.
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheet and data analysis tools (pivot tables, lookup formulas, data validation, modeling).
  • Experience with financial/ERP systems, accounting software, databases, and reporting platforms.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal controls.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends, inconsistencies, and process gaps.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementation, data migration, user acceptance testing, or automated data workflows.
  • Familiarity with field mapping, APIs, and system integration testing.
  • Strong documentation skills for process maps, user guides, and system requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, forecasts, and budget-to-actual models for executive leadership and the Board.
  • Support the annual budget process, including data consolidation, scenario modeling, and cost allocations.
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards using ERP, CRM, and business intelligence tools.
  • Monitor grant and restricted fund activities, including budget tracking, indirect cost calculations, and funder reporting.
  • Manage and test integrations between financial, CRM, payroll, and certification systems.
  • Analyze workflows to identify process improvements, reduce manual tasks, and improve data accuracy.
  • Support internal controls, data governance, and annual audit/Form 990 compliance requirements.
