Requirements
- 2+ years of claims handling experience, including coverage and liability.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service, listening, and empathy skills.
- Mac literate, including Google and Microsoft applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Must hold or be able to promptly obtain a Texas Independent Adjuster License.
- Experience with Commercial General Liability claims.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Self-starter with reliability and flexibility toward change.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage, investigate, and resolve commercial general liability property damage claims.
- Evaluate insurance coverage based on claim reports, policy details, and applicable laws.
- Settle claims within prescribed authority levels or recommend resolution for cases exceeding authority.
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and provide status updates.
- Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements while meeting quality and performance goals.
- Manage a high volume of claims with varying levels of complexity.
