Requirements
- Experience as an operations-minded engineer, ideally in an early-stage startup environment.
- Proven ability to build internal systems that support core business operations.
- Strong technical writing skills for explaining tradeoffs and providing status updates.
- Expertise in application development and third-party tool integrations.
- Experience with data modeling and infrastructure maintenance.
- Proficiency with AI tooling to accelerate development cycles.
- Strong sense of autonomy and reliability for remote work.
- Discretion and care when handling sensitive data and financial workflows.
- Familiarity with Notion, Discord, Google Workspace, Airtable, and project management tools.
Responsibilities
- Take over and document existing systems to ensure organizational independence.
- Build data capture and reporting infrastructure for business-critical metrics.
- Migrate critical manual processes from spreadsheets into the internal platform.
- Proactively identify and remove operational constraints through technical solutions.
- Provide short, specific, and timely weekly written status updates to leadership.
- Collaborate directly with the founder to prioritize and implement improvements.
