Requirements
- Have 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Have a track record of building scalable data platforms and pipelines.
- Bring expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including services such as S3, Kinesis, ECS, and Athena.
- Have experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt.
- Have hands-on experience with ETL orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar.
- Understand data modeling, warehousing, and analytics best practices, including schema design, partitioning, and versioning.
- Have hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure as code.
- Be proficient in Python and skilled in writing and optimizing SQL.
- Be comfortable contributing to architectural discussions and technical decisions.
- Be able to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the data platform for product insights, LiveOps, and marketing.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that transform raw gameplay data into clean, structured datasets.
- Collaborate with analysts and game teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions.
- Define data quality standards and build automated monitoring, alerting, and validation systems.
- Develop and maintain services for interacting with partners and third-party services.
- Promote observability, testing, performance optimization, cost awareness, and reliability.
