Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL, particularly with dbt or similar frameworks.
- Have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Have experience with Fivetran or a similar modern data integration tool.
- Have strong experience working with cloud-based data warehouses.
- Have strong knowledge of data modeling and designing efficient database schemas.
- Have experience building and maintaining scalable ELT workflows or data pipelines.
- Be fluent in English.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Terraform and GitHub Actions proficiency are nice-to-haves.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using dbt, Fivetran, and Metabase or similar modern data stack technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Develop and maintain ELT workflows that extract, load, and transform data from diverse sources into a centralized cloud data warehouse.
- Implement and maintain dimensional models, staging layers, marts, and transformation logic.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data workflows and provide technical support.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
- Build and improve the development environment and CI/CD system for scalable, reliable data delivery.
- Ingest data from external systems via APIs.
