Requirements
- Related University degree (Health Sciences, Psychology, Counseling, or Nursing preferred).
- 5 years of vocational rehabilitation experience or extensive active rehabilitation experience.
- Full bilingual proficiency (English and French).
- Sound knowledge of Rehabilitation Industry Standards, Disability Insurance, and medical terminology.
- Experience managing budgets in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for travel to various locations.
- Ability to present effectively to large groups virtually and in person.
- Accredited Rehabilitation Professional (ARP) or Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CCRC) credentials are an asset.
- Prior military experience is a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and implement goal-oriented vocational rehabilitation strategies for claimants in receipt of disability benefits.
- Contribute to the profitability of Group Disability by facilitating timely return-to-work solutions.
- Work with policyholders to create effective return-to-work solutions.
- Manage rehabilitation-related budgets.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, members, and medical professionals regarding complex cases.
- Oversee vendor management to ensure efficient treatment delivery.
