Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in marketing, communications, content and/or social media.
- Genuine passion for travel and firsthand travel experience.
- Strong written communication skills and an eye for compelling content.
- Confident video creation and editing skills.
- Strong Canva skills with an eye for design, layout, and brand consistency.
- Strong understanding of current social media platforms, formats, and trends.
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Initiative, commercial awareness, and a proactive attitude.
- Confidence to work autonomously in a remote team.
- Strong domestic and international travel experience is highly desirable.
- Australian travel industry experience is highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day marketing presence across three travel brands.
- Develop and manage marketing plans and content calendars.
- Identify proactive opportunities to promote destinations, products, and partners.
- Manage organic social media activity and campaigns from concept to reporting.
- Write blogs, destination content, and trade communications.
- Edit short-form video for social media and digital campaigns.
- Turn client trip assets into fresh content for social, blog, and email.
- Contribute to an educational video library for trade partners.
- Manage relationships with marketing partners and agencies.
- Provide reporting on marketing activity, performance, and recommendations.
