Requirements
- Proven experience in incentive compensation, commissions management, sales compensation, or a closely related finance function.
- Strong expertise in incentive plan design and strategic modeling.
- Demonstrated experience managing the complete commission lifecycle.
- Advanced data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise commission management platforms (e.g., Everstage, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly).
- Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with BI and analytics platforms such as Tableau or Looker.
- Experience configuring or managing commission-related data pipelines.
- Strong analytical rigor and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with sales and leadership.
- Proactive, technology-oriented mindset with interest in AI and process automation.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic discussions with sales and executive stakeholders to design and distribute commission plans.
- Own monthly and quarterly commission calculations, payout execution, validation, exception management, and deal attribution.
- Coordinate the delivery of commission statements to sales representatives.
- Configure and maintain data pipelines for the commission management platform and implement automation.
- Implement AI-driven anomaly detection to identify payout discrepancies.
- Build and maintain a knowledge base for AI-powered commission policy Q&A.
- Develop validation checks, productivity analytics, and bell-curve analysis to assess plan effectiveness.
- Establish comprehensive dashboards for performance and attainment trends.
- Collaborate with finance and sales stakeholders to resolve issues and improve incentive operations.
