Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, technology finance, or commercial analysis.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, PivotTables, and large-dataset manipulation.
- Proven ability to build, modify, and audit financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business case development.
- Proficiency with financial concepts including OpEx, CapEx, cash flow, and cost allocation.
- BS or BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple analytical workstreams in a client-facing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting to executive audiences.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Teams.
- Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI is preferred.
- Experience analyzing enterprise technology, software, or cloud investments is preferred.
- Willingness to complete a practical Excel-based financial modeling exercise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial, pricing, and commercial models for software investments.
- Build financial baselines, forecasts, and pro forma scenarios using client financial data.
- Conduct variance, trend, scenario, and sensitivity analysis to identify cost drivers.
- Perform total cost of ownership, ROI, and cost-benefit analyses for strategic alternatives.
- Quantify financial risks and opportunities related to contract renewals, migrations, and cloud adoption.
- Cleanse, reconcile, and validate large, complex datasets from client and third-party sources.
- Translate complex quantitative findings into actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders.
- Support commercial benchmarking and negotiations through pricing analysis and modeling.
