Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in systems administration, business systems engineering, or customer support platforms.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying production automations that deliver measurable business value.
- Hands-on expertise administering Zendesk (automations, triggers, business rules, custom fields, and reporting).
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms such as Workato, Zapier, or Retool.
- Familiarity with AI and LLM technologies, including prompt engineering, AI agents, and MCP.
- Working knowledge of JSON, SQL, and light scripting in Python or JavaScript.
- Understanding of Salesforce integrations, including object relationships and field mapping.
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues across unfamiliar systems.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset focused on measuring efficiency, quality, and user experience improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Zendesk automations including ticket routing, field population, and summarization.
- Develop AI-powered workflows leveraging LLM integrations, AI agents, and sentiment analysis.
- Build low-code/no-code integrations connecting CX and GTM systems using Workato, Zapier, or Retool.
- Manage the end-to-end automation lifecycle including requirements discovery, development, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain synchronized data flows between Zendesk, Salesforce, ClickUp, and other ecosystem tools.
- Develop dashboards and data pipelines to measure support health and automation effectiveness.
- Evaluate and implement emerging AI techniques like retrieval-augmented generation in production workflows.
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks for all developed systems.
