Requirements
- 5–6 years of professional experience in Sales or Business Development within the OTA, travel technology, or travel industry.
- Proven track record of acquiring B2B partners, travel agents, OTAs, or similar travel-industry customers in the Indian market.
- Strong existing network across Indian OTAs, travel agencies, or Travel Management Companies (TMCs).
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage prospecting, relationship development, negotiation, onboarding, and account growth.
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of achieving acquisition, revenue, GMV, or other business development targets.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence presenting and negotiating with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong ownership of targets and priorities.
- Prior exposure to the GCC or broader MENA travel market is highly desirable.
- Existing relationships with attraction operators, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), or other travel ecosystem participants are a plus.
- Experience selling SaaS or technology platforms to travel-industry clients is advantageous.
- Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
- Experience working within a startup or high-growth technology environment is preferred.
- A Master’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, pitch, and onboard travel agents, OTAs, and corporate travel managers across the Indian market.
- Develop and manage strategic business relationships across key GCC markets, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
- Own the end-to-end partner acquisition process, including commercial discussions, contracts, training, platform integration, and activation.
- Deliver partner acquisition, revenue, and GMV targets established by regional leadership.
- Manage and grow existing partner accounts in India by identifying opportunities to increase engagement, adoption, and commercial value.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners while consistently progressing opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and travel industry trends, providing actionable insights to regional leadership.
- Represent the business at relevant travel industry events, trade forums, and networking opportunities in India.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to resolve partner challenges, improve onboarding, and increase platform adoption.
