Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent years of experience in construction, project planning, and execution of large utility-scale power projects.
- 3-8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, industrial construction, or capital project management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management methods for large projects, contract management, procurement, and supply chain management.
- Experience with environmental and building permitting and transportation logistics.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
- Extensive experience with EPC and BOP construction contracting, including RFP processes, bid reviews, and contract term negotiation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in MS Project.
- Basic knowledge of construction labor relations throughout the US.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and on deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Work with Development to address construction and execution issues including constructability assessments, site visits, and permitting.
- Lead the development of baseline project schedules with appropriate durations and contingencies.
- Manage the EPC RFP process from scoping and identification through selection and approval.
- Lead EPC contract execution and early-stage engineering in conjunction with legal and project execution teams.
- Coordinate with Cost Estimating & Controls to maintain project budgets and cash spend forecasts.
- Manage project stakeholder alignment through weekly status meetings.
- Develop relationships with contractors and suppliers to support execution strategy.
