Requirements

- 8+ years of substation engineering experience.
- 4+ years of experience leading teams within an engineering consulting, utility, or infrastructure environment.
- Experience leading through leaders, including project managers, supervisors, technical managers, or team leads.
- Demonstrated success in talent development, team growth, and organizational leadership.
- Strong business acumen with experience winning work and managing staffing.
- Experience cultivating financial performance and achieving operational goals.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and grow a team of engineers, designers, project managers, and technical leaders.
- Coach and support team leads and senior engineering professionals.
- Collaborate with market, operations, and technical team leaders to support team growth and client success.
- Drive recruiting, workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with utility clients.
- Support business development, client account growth, and strategic market initiatives.
- Oversee team workload forecasting, resource management, and financial performance.
- Ensure successful delivery of utility substation projects with a focus on quality, schedule, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to advance design standards and engineering practices.
