Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of Repair or Installation Field Engineering experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time, including international travel.
- Strong project management and change management skills.
- Proficiency in technical writing and process documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
- Commitment to safety standards.
- Preferred: Mechanical or electrical engineering degree.
- Preferred: Experience with Liftra Self Hoisting Crane or crane-less major component exchange.
- Preferred: Lean or Six Sigma certification.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between Global Services & Projects and Wind Engineering for tool and repair process development.
- Lead global validations and beta testing of new tooling and process products with regional and engineering teams.
- Develop and execute global training strategies, including curriculum building and knowledge transfer for new products.
- Manage full operational deployment including cost/benefit alignment, logistics, procurement, and maintenance planning.
- Provide technical direction and remote or on-site support for emergent issues.
- Drive continuous improvement through Kaizens, PSRs, and new standards to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
