Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in security operations (detection engineering, threat hunting, IR, forensics, or threat intelligence).
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with insider threat technologies such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA).
- Familiarity with the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
- Experience automating security detection and response workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) preferred.
- Exposure to data science and analytics approaches for insider threat detection.
- Working knowledge of insider threat challenges in B2C companies.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills for high-stress environments.
Responsibilities
- Identify and bridge visibility gaps across environments through improved logging and detection coverage.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for threat detection and incident response.
- Execute threat hunting, detection, and investigation of potential insider threats.
- Develop and maintain detection logic for identifying data abuse and exfiltration at scale.
- Build automation tools and detection models to identify anomalous activity.
- Collaborate with engineering, HR, and Legal departments on complex investigations and detection design.
- Design and consult on countermeasures to mitigate insider threat risks.
- Contribute to security awareness training and provide subject-matter expertise during incidents.
