Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with large-scale web application architecture.
- Familiarity with production environments and handling real-world scale constraints.
- Proficiency in modern backend technologies with the ability to learn Go and Ruby quickly.
- Experience with testing, monitoring, and incident management.
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ownership mindset regarding code impact and system health.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional squad teams.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain services handling real financial transactions.
- Own service architecture, resilience, and scalability following Domain-Driven Design principles.
- Lead design discussions and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Drive continuous improvement including fixing CI processes and conducting post-mortems.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineering disciplines within a squad team.
