Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in backend architecture and development.
- Solid mastery of object-oriented design.
- Practical experience with Go, Java, or Python.
- Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker or Podman.
- Solid experience in building and deploying REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases; NoSQL experience (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
- Experience in developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
- English language proficiency at B2 level for documentation and meetings.
- French language proficiency is required for daily team communication.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems via REST APIs, focusing on DRM and content configuration.
- Build and improve video processing systems including scheduling, state machines, and processing tasks.
- Develop and optimize the video upload system for performance, cost-efficiency, and resilience.
- Analyze and solve large-scale Big Data challenges involving petabytes of video data.
- Contribute proactively to the evolution and improvement of the platform architecture.
