Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years in an enterprise architectural role
- Proven experience architecting software for FedRAMP authorization
- Deep familiarity with government cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency with API gateways and microservices
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and complex data models
- Understanding of modern deployment pipelines and SCM strategies
- Knowledge of Zero-Trust architecture and IAM strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience influencing executive leadership
Responsibilities
- Document the current architectural state and draft comprehensive future-state target architectures.
- Serve as the primary technical driver for FedRAMP authorization by defining system boundaries and managing remediation efforts.
- Design and enforce sustainable branching, merging, and release strategies across commercial and government environments.
- Architect scalable, low-latency video and telephony integrations for Telehealth platforms.
- Translate complex compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, HIPAA, and GDPR into actionable engineering requirements.
- Mentor senior developers and tech leads while bridging communication between product management and engineering.
- Evaluate and develop Proof of Concepts for emerging technologies including AI/ML integrations.
