Requirements
- Hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5–7 years of cloud architecture experience, or a master’s degree and 3–5 years of experience.
- Hold one of these certifications: CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, GICSP, SSCP, or GSEC.
- Demonstrate understanding of technical principles and concepts in cloud computing.
- Develop solutions independently for complex technical problems.
- Have experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Be familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Know cloud-native services, serverless architectures, and microservices.
- Be familiar with cybersecurity best practices and software security protocols.
- Have experience in system integration, software scalability, and government and defense-related systems engineering.
- Analyze system performance, develop implementation requirements, and ensure compliance with verification standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee cloud computing strategy, adoption plans, application architecture, and management.
- Lead cloud implementation projects and system deployment on IaaS and PaaS.
- Work with cloud service providers to design system architecture.
- Onboard new customers and system tenants.
- Translate high-level system requirements into detailed implementation specifications.
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and programmers to define project limitations, system capabilities, and interface requirements.
- Monitor systems, manage updates, and optimize cloud performance and connectivity.
- Assess current-state architecture and recommend future-state architecture.
- Lead consultative engagements with domain architects, sales consultants, business analysts, and technical staff.
- Ensure contractual deliverables are met and maintain productive relationships with clients.
