Have 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including leadership of complex cloud-native programs.
Have 5+ years of hands-on microservices/API development with Kubernetes orchestration.
Bring strong experience with AWS services, including EKS, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
Have expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and micro-frontend design; ReactJS is strongly preferred.
Have strong API design experience with REST and GraphQL.
Have experience with Docker and container orchestration on AWS.
Demonstrate problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership capabilities.
Public Trust clearance level is specified for the role.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is a bonus.
AWS Solutions Architect certification is a bonus.
Experience with GRIB, BUFR, NetCDF, or geospatial databases such as PostGIS is a bonus.
Background in FISMA-regulated environments, scientific computing, or AWS serverless and EKS is a bonus.

Drive end-to-end architecture of a cloud-native micro-frontend ecosystem and distributed data platform on AWS.
Define modular approaches to micro-frontends, microservices, APIs, and real-time streaming pipelines.
Establish engineering standards across backend, data, front-end frameworks, performance, and security.
Develop REST/GraphQL APIs and Node.js BFF services running on Kubernetes.
Deliver responsive cloud-hosted micro-frontends using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
Build real-time hazard streaming capabilities using WebSockets, SSE, and event-driven pipelines.
Architect caching, tiling, and front-end delivery strategies for geospatial and time-series data.
Implement secure RBAC via AWS Cognito/JWT and support compliance with federal security standards.
Partner with DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines, IaC practices, and deployment strategies.
Mentor engineers, drive code reviews, and shape roadmap discussions.
