Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience.
- 2+ years operating as a Senior IC or equivalent technical leadership level.
- Deep backend expertise in C# (.NET).
- Frontend proficiency in React, Svelte, and TypeScript.
- Strong data modeling skills with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Experience with payments or fintech domains, including gateway integrations and PCI compliance.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, and the AWS ecosystem.
- Proven ability to use AI-assisted tools for development and debugging.
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extreme ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a self-directed environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations with multiple payment gateway providers, including Stripe and PayPal.
- Develop backend payment services and APIs in C#/.NET while building intuitive customer-facing experiences in React, Svelte, and TypeScript.
- Apply PCI-DSS best practices and resilient design patterns like tokenization, idempotency, and retries.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- Design and operate distributed, event-driven services on AWS and Kubernetes with comprehensive observability.
- Partner across product, design, and platform teams to deliver seamless payment experiences for the marketplace.
