Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Go with experience in large-scale codebases.
- Production experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) including schema design and query performance at scale.
- Experience building and operating services in AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with production-level observability tooling (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Requirement of a minimum 25Mbps consumer-grade broadband connection.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate event-driven services that process pentest data in real time including stream processing, storage, and schema evolution.
- Take ambiguous, high-impact problems from design through implementation, rollout, and long-term operation.
- Translate existing batch-era logic such as attack path analysis and host correlation into streaming-friendly designs.
- Solve distributed systems challenges, including decomposing monolithic data-storage architectures for a growing engineering organization.
- Set a high bar for operational excellence including SLOs, instrumentation, alerting, and on-call incident response.
- Raise the technical bar through design reviews, technical writing, and maintaining clear API contracts.
