Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related field.
- Thirteen to eighteen years of engineering experience.
- Two or more years working on Mission Critical Data Center design projects.
- Advanced knowledge of fiber optic component, cabling and interconnect products.
- Advanced knowledge in ICT structured cabling design technologies and standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize processes.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to plan and delegate work effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, distraction-free environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead full cycle ICT design activities for mission critical hyperscale and colocation data center and smart building / city projects.
- Independently perform advanced Information Communication Technology (ICT) design and computation analysis tasks.
- Manage project design team resources, identify potential scope changes, and control deviations from costs and deadlines.
- Lead construction activities including surveying building conditions, preparing construction documents, and reviewing shop drawings and RFIs.
- Serve as primary client contact, develop proposals, and manage budget and schedule execution.
- Mentor associates, contribute to organizational training, and assist with strategic planning and hiring.
- Identify and lead the strategic use of technology, digital platforms, and AI-enabled tools to optimize workflow efficiency.
