Requirements
- Strong backend development experience in Node.js / TypeScript.
- Proficiency in relational (PostgreSQL) or non-relational (MongoDB) database schema design.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs, including handling timeouts, retries, and partial failures.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of security best practices, encryption, and access control for sensitive customer data.
- Fluency in English communication.
- Experience in fintech, insurtech, or regulated industries (nice-to-have).
- Experience building plugin/adapter systems for external integrations (nice-to-have).
- Experience with Redis or similar for session/cache management (nice-to-have).
Responsibilities
- Build systems that connect to multiple insurance providers for real-time quote requests.
- Design fair comparison and ranking logic for insurance quotes.
- Develop and maintain customer databases and secure audit trails.
- Configure cloud hosting, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.
- Implement security measures including encryption and secrets management.
