Requirements
- Strong backend development in Node.js / TypeScript (or willing/able to work in it)
- Experience in relational (PostgreSQL or similar) or non-relational database (MongoDB or similar) design
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs, specifically handling timeouts, retries, and partial failures
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable working with sensitive customer data and security best practices (encryption, access control)
- Strong English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Build the system that connects to multiple insurance providers and requests quotes from all of them at once
- Design how those quotes get compared fairly and ranked for the customer
- Build the customer database and the secure audit trail required
- Set up cloud hosting, CI/CD pipeline, observability and security (encryption, secrets management)
