Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Linux sysadmin, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Docker fluency, including writing, debugging, and optimizing Dockerfiles and multi-service compose stacks.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as DNS, TLS, HTTP semantics, reverse proxies, and load balancers.
- Proficiency in Bash and at least one additional scripting language (Python, Go, or Ruby).
- Hands-on experience designing CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive production operations experience, including on-call rotations, postmortems, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) primitives.
- Git fluency.
- Experience using AI coding assistants and agent-based workflows in operational tasks.
- Strong written English communication skills for documentation and technical reporting.
Responsibilities
- Operate the production system including deploys, rollbacks, capacity planning, and incident response.
- Design and execute a scaling roadmap for horizontal scaling, load balancing, caching, and database replication.
- Evaluate and integrate cloud building blocks such as managed databases, object storage, and CDNs.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for testing, building, and deploying services.
- Establish observability through metrics, logs, error tracking, and automated alerting.
- Manage security through TLS/ACME automation and secret management.
- Introduce infrastructure-as-code to ensure production system reproducibility.
- Use AI coding assistants to author IaC modules, runbooks, and incident-response playbooks.
