Requirements

  • 2-5 years of industry experience in computer vision and machine learning.
  • Solid understanding of object detection, semantic segmentation, image classification, and vision transformers.
  • Proven experience taking at least one ML model into production and maintaining it.
  • Ability to read ML research papers and implement the underlying ideas.
  • Proficiency in Python and core libraries: PyTorch, Lightning, OpenCV, NumPy, pandas, and Scikit-Learn.
  • Experience with production-grade tools: FastAPI, Pydantic, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong software engineering practices including Git, unit/integration testing, and type hinting.
  • Demonstrated ability to own technical projects independently from framing to deployment.
  • Experience with model versioning, experiment tracking, and ML DevOps.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver end-to-end computer vision projects for defect detection, thermal analysis, and surveillance.
  • Scope, plan, and execute projects from problem framing through production deployment and monitoring.
  • Translate client requirements and raw data into functional computer vision solutions.
  • Read, evaluate, and implement novel algorithms from ML research papers for production viability.
  • Design and execute experiments with systematic hyperparameter tuning and ablation studies.
  • Build and maintain production-grade Python data pipelines and model serving systems.
  • Categorize failure modes and conduct structured error analysis to improve model performance.
