Requirements
- 8+ years of experience across strategic finance, FP&A, finance leadership, BizOps, consulting, banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or similar roles.
- Meaningful operating experience inside a growing company.
- Strong command of financial statements, accounting, forecasting, cash management, unit economics, and corporate finance.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Experience using data and analysis to influence major business decisions.
- Experience presenting to executive teams and/or Boards.
- Experience building better systems, processes, and operating cadences.
- Ability to balance high-level strategy with operational detail.
- Experience with B2B services, education, technology-enabled services, M&A, fundraising, or transactional work is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Own forecasting, annual planning, scenario modeling, and long-range financial planning.
- Build a clear operating cadence around financial and operating KPIs.
- Support department leaders with budget accountability, hiring, and investment decisions.
- Manage cash forecasting, working capital, treasury, and liquidity.
- Oversee external accounting partners, AP/AR, tax coordination, and financial controls.
- Support major customer, vendor, and partnership negotiations via financial analysis.
- Collaborate with the CEO on Board materials, investor communications, and fundraising.
- Analyze ambiguous business questions to provide structured recommendations.
- Drive cross-functional problem solving outside of traditional finance boundaries.
