Requirements
- 5+ years of finance experience, preferably in an analytical role involving budgeting, planning, financial modeling, and decision analytics.
- 2+ years experience supporting a high growth Amazon channel within an eCommerce or CPG business is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
- Experienced with Tableau or similar analytics platforms like Looker or Mode.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Advanced skills in Excel, with the ability to manipulate, digest, and summarize large amounts of data.
- Proven ability to identify and drive process and system improvements.
- Passionate about accounting operations and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- Experience gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to various audiences.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and be unafraid to ask questions.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in the month-end close process for Amazon channel expenses, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasting revenue.
- Oversee the reconciliation of accrual and prepaid expense accounts, ensuring accurate recording and amortization of prepaid items.
- Own, maintain, and enhance company financial and operating models.
- Support annual budget and ongoing forecasting processes.
- Provide monthly financial variance analysis and run budget/operational review meetings with department heads.
- Provide strategic guidance using analytics initiatives such as business/economic/financial modeling.
- Work closely with department leads to provide analytical support and optimize resource allocation.
- Use Tableau and Quickbooks/MS Dynamics to mine and analyze data for leadership.
