Requirements
- Experience running daily operations for a high-volume team, such as gig-economy platforms, fulfillment/production operations, or fintech onboarding.
- Demonstrated ability to manage by numbers using dashboards and data analysis.
- Experience in direct people management with the ability to provide coaching and have difficult performance conversations.
- Strong resilience in high-pressure, high-volume environments with the ability to sequence and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written communication skills for clear escalation and problem description.
- Proven effectiveness in managing and leading remote, early-career teams.
- Comfort using spreadsheets and light data analysis tools.
- Experience with AI tooling is considered a plus.
- Operational experience in high-volume fulfillment or customer success workflows such as KYC or identity verification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own daily production numbers across four teams, identifying and fixing performance issues in real time.
- Increase conversion rates at every stage of the funnel, specifically focusing on interview show-rates and onboarding completion.
- Maintain queue flow to ensure no bottlenecks, reallocating resources or processes as needed.
- Manage and coach a remote, early-career team of interviewers, onboarding specialists, and document reviewers.
- Optimize unit economics to drive down the cost per person processed through the funnel.
- Identify software inefficiencies and create clear, specific requirements for engineering team fixes.
