Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- 2–3+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role.
- Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage audits, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or MS Business Central.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust across teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Healthcare or SaaS industries is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and close processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure integrity.
- Report SaaS metrics such as MRR, GRR, and NRR.
- Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Provide financial insights to the CFO and executive team to support business planning.
