Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-scale systems.
- Expert-level Ruby on Rails experience.
- Strong knowledge of web application architecture, distributed systems, APIs, data modeling, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven leadership in technical architecture and mentoring.
- Deep expertise with modern AI development, LLMs, and AI-assisted coding tools.
- Understanding of agent architectures, retrieval systems, tool-calling, and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong product and business judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve architectural standards across customer-facing and operational systems.
- Lead the design of complex software systems, integrations, workflows, and data models.
- Champion AI-assisted software development and define best practices for using LLMs.
- Design and build agentic systems to automate engineering and business processes.
- Raise standards for code quality, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness.
- Partner with Product, Operations, Pharmacy, and other teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
