Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building an allocator or investor network in wealth management, private banking, family office, or placement.
- Evidence of independently establishing relationships and opening new investor conversations.
- A clear and repeatable approach to identifying relevant investors and maintaining relationships.
- Strong understanding of how investors allocate capital, ideally including direct investments in US startups.
- Excellent listening and relationship-building skills with a consultative approach.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple relationships, mandates, and priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Willingness to use AI tools for research and workflow management.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a growing portfolio of allocator relationships, including family offices and high-net-worth individuals.
- Support live fundraising mandates by qualifying investors, preparing briefing notes, and ensuring strong execution.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of new investor relationships by identifying relevant allocators.
- Research investors to understand investment strategies and appetite for direct investments, particularly in US startups.
- Provide relevant, thoughtful communication to maintain trusted investor relationships.
- Collaborate with senior investor professionals to contribute to mandate execution and develop independent judgment.
- Use AI-powered tools and modern workflow technologies to streamline research and pipeline management.
- Handle sensitive investor information with a high degree of discretion.
