Requirements
- 2+ years of combined manual and automation testing experience.
- Proven expertise in testing web applications built with Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in TypeScript-based automation tools such as Cypress.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA or TestRail.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Detail-oriented mindset and passion for quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across web applications.
- Validate new features and enhancements to ensure a frictionless user experience.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts using TypeScript-based frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality checks.
- Test RESTful services using Postman to ensure reliable and scalable API endpoints.
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or TestRail.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to refine requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
