Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within apparel and/or home textile manufacturing.
  • 10+ years of people management experience with a track record of building and scaling teams.
  • Extensive experience working with overseas vendors in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
  • Expert knowledge of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards in the US, EU, Canada, Australia, and UK.
  • Strong working knowledge of home textile-specific testing standards (AATCC, ASTM, 16 CFR).
  • Experience managing quality across DTC/e-commerce and wholesale/retail channels.
  • Familiarity with sustainable textile certifications like OEKO-TEX, GOTS, and bluesign.
  • Deep expertise in international labeling requirements and flammability disclosures.
  • Ability to travel internationally for factory audits, inspections, and retail meetings.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, high SKU count business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the global QA strategy, frameworks, SOPs, and compliance standards across all vendors and categories.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing QA team to support rapid global expansion.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory landscapes across international markets, including US, EU, Canada, Australia, and UK.
  • Develop and enforce compliance programs aligned with requirements of major retail partners.
  • Establish, document, and evolve quality benchmarks for apparel, home textiles, and accessories.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and drive corrective action plans with vendors.
  • Manage global vendor performance, including quality scorecards, audits, and factory evaluations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end inspection lifecycle, including pre-production meetings and final inspections.
