Requirements
- Active and verifiable Virginia counseling license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LSATP, or LPC Resident)
- Must hold licensure in state of residence if different from Virginia
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Experience using EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Passionate about supporting individuals in recovery and building therapeutic relationships
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Reliable internet connection
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments to evaluate Member readiness and determine appropriate level of care
- Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum
- Provide crisis support and coordinate appropriate referrals when needed
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors on individualized treatment and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant state regulations
