Requirements
- 4 years of experience developing and supporting software in a production environment.
- 3 years of experience programming in object oriented languages such as Scala or other JVM languages.
- 3 years of experience with functional programming paradigms and ecosystems (e.g., Scala Cats, ZIO).
- Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- 3 years of experience developing and supporting scalable, distributed backend services (preferred).
- 3 years of experience working with SQL databases and relational databases (preferred).
- Professional Polish proficiency in verbal and written communication (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, ship, and monitor the platform using Scala, Python, MySQL, Clickhouse, Redis, Kafka, Qdrant, and Solr.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
- Improve the processes, systems, and tools used to deliver quality products.
- Champion technical initiatives and provide architectural direction.
- Ensure project quality through planning, breaking down work, testing, and monitoring.
- Lift the skills of other engineers through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and PR feedback.
