Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
- Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, EKS, ECR, Route 53, IAM, and networking.
- Advanced hands-on experience with production Kubernetes operations, networking, and workload management.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and environment management.
- Experience with Helm, Kustomize, GitLab CI/CD, and GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
- Strong observability background with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
- Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools such as ingress controllers, Cluster Autoscaler, or Karpenter.
- Operational support experience with PostgreSQL/RDS.
- Knowledge of cloud and container security practices including least privilege IAM and secrets management.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar.
- Practical experience utilizing AI-assisted engineering tools and LLMs for infrastructure development.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, and automate AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Manage Kubernetes and EKS platform operations including cluster lifecycle, scaling, and capacity planning.
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes capabilities such as networking, RBAC, and secrets management.
- Build deployment workflows using Helm, Kustomize, GitLab CI/CD, and GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
- Implement observability solutions for metrics, logging, alerting, and incident diagnostics.
- Strengthen cloud and Kubernetes security via IAM, policy-as-code, and runtime hardening.
- Support PostgreSQL/RDS environments and collaborate with application teams to improve developer experience.
