Requirements
- Deep AWS experience at organization level (Organizations, Control Tower, multi-account landing zones, IAM/SCPs, Security Hub/GuardDuty, VPC).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, CDK, or Pulumi) with focus on module design and state management.
- Experience evolving existing systems toward SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance standards.
- Strong background in workforce identity and access management (IdP-backed SSO/MFA, centralized access).
- Experience self-hosting, operating, and maintaining shared internal tooling.
- Observability and alerting design skills, with experience in on-call support.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management fundamentals.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming with Bash, Python, or Go.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the internal cloud infrastructure and serve as the primary point of contact for cloud operations.
- Manage and improve multi-account cloud environments, ensuring security and compliance best practices.
- Support and maintain compliance with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001.
- Operate identity and access management systems including SSO, MFA, and automated provisioning processes.
- Maintain and monitor self-hosted internal services, ensuring uptime and security.
- Monitor cloud security through continuous posture management and proactive risk identification.
- Own infrastructure cost management and identify reliability or cost risks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
