Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience testing complex software systems.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, and test documentation standards.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automated software testing.
- Practical experience with API testing tools such as Postman and performance testing tools such as JMeter or NeoLoad.
- Familiarity with test and defect management platforms such as Jira, Zephyr, qTest, or similar solutions.
- Working knowledge of a programming language such as JavaScript, Java, or Python, along with automation frameworks or tools such as Tosca, Playwright, TestNG, or Selenium.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Understanding of Jenkins or a comparable CI/automation server is preferred.
- Experience with database testing and SQL is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Define testing strategies for product verification and validation, and create and maintain comprehensive test plans.
- Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases for web applications and APIs.
- Participate in reviews of requirements and design specifications, working closely with internal and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze and summarize test results, identify anomalies, and document defects in appropriate tracking systems.
- Communicate testing status, risks, and quality findings to relevant stakeholders and recommend solutions to identified issues.
- Apply quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle and contribute to improving testing processes, tools, and practices.
- Support, guide, and mentor other QA team members while promoting effective testing standards and knowledge sharing.
